The three keys to a talented workforce are
to: secure high performance workers (talent identification);
develop those individuals who are selected as members of work
teams (talent development); and manage turnover and succession
for organizational success (talent retention).
Talent Identification
TPG designs and supports selection and
promotion systems that enable accurate and efficient
determination of a candidate’s likelihood of success in
a job role. Our approach to productivity and performance
begins with analysis of the work. Using job analysis and
workforce assessment, our ultimate goal at every level is to
identify the best person-job match possible. Such talent
identification can include assessment of individual skills,
abilities, and work style as well as assessment of team
dynamics and the operational context of particular job roles.
Talent Development
Once talent is on-board, these individuals
and teams need to know what is expected of them and have
appropriate feedback and support if they are to fulfill their
promise. TPG structures talent development systems that
couple development of people to the business strategy of the
organization. Performance standards and metrics are
linked and cascaded from the level of the overall enterprise to
successive organizational points comprised of teams and
individuals. In partnership with a client, TPG supports
change and development with initiatives ranging from training
and coaching to teambuilding and large-scale organizational
transformation.
Talent Retention
TPG designs programs that entrench
desired performance and manage turnover and succession.
We help clients clearly define performance expectations
that are supported by structured pay and reward programs that
are equitable and competitive, thus empowering retention of
valuable workers.
